Piping Connections

Refrigerant Pipe Connections;

AIR-COOLED

When piping air-cooled systems, care must be

taken to use only clean refrigerant grade (Type

L) pipe and follow standard procedures for pipe

size selection. Maximum recommended

distance between the evaporator and condenser

is 200 equivalent feet. For any run beyond this

distance contact the factory for assistance.

Vertical runs (hot gas) require a trap every 20

feet of rise.

Care should be taken in the correct connection

of the water/glycol inlet and outlet connections.

It is recommended that shut off valves be

installed for use during routine service and

emergency isolation of the air conditioner.
