Overview

The APC NetworkAIR AFX com-

puter room air conditioning system

provides a quiet, efficient, and reli-

able solution for heat sensitive

equipment areas.

Precision environmental require-

ments now reach far beyond the

confines of the traditional data cen-

ter or computer room to encompass

a larger suite of applications,

referred to as technology rooms.

Critical environment applications

include:

• Computer rooms

• Telecommunication facilities

• Clean rooms

• Power equipment

• Medical equipment rooms

• Archives

• LAN/WAN environments

A worldwide network of APC rep-

resentatives is fully qualified to

provide engineering, sales, installa-

tion and service for our products.

APC warrants all parts for 12

months from shipment. Extended

warranties are available.

Models

AFX is available in two models:

AFX18, AFX65.

Room Air Distribution

Downflow systems discharge air

into the raised floor plenum. These

systems are suitable for areas with

raised floors greater than 12" (305

mm) high. Return air is drawn in

through the top of the system.

Upflow systems discharge air into

either a plenum or ductwork. These

systems are suitable for areas with-

out raised floors, as well as areas

with raised floors. Air is drawn in

through the front of the system.
