ONE-TIME QUICK-MOUNT

ATTACHMENT INSTALLATION

You only have to install the Quick-Mount node once as

it can be left in the security slot hole permanently.

1. Locate the security slot hole on the side or back

of your computer indicated by symbols:

2. Loosen the Quick-Mount node screw enough to

be able to insert the hook into the security slot

hole. (Diagram 1)

3. Insert the hook of the node into security slot

(Diagram 2) and rest the node flat against the

notebook wall.

DÉPASSER LE PRIX DE VENTE DES PRODUITS OU

4. LIMITE DE RESPONSABILITÉ

NE SERA RESPONSABLE DES DOMMAGES

4. Tighten the node screw all the way until the node

is snug against computer wall. (Diagram 3)

HOW TO USE YOUR NOTEBOOK

COMPUTER KEY LOCK

1. Decide what stationary object you wish to secure

your computer to, i.e., desk leg, table leg, or any

immovable object.

2. Take the cinch loop end of the cable and wrap it

around the stationary object. Be sure the object

cannot be lifted up to allow slipping the cable out

from underneath.

3. Pass the key lock head through the cinch loop.

4. Insert one of the keys into the key lock and rotate

it 1/4 turn counterclockwise towards the

unlock symbol.

5. Snap the key lock head onto the Quick-Mount node

lining up the grooves so that it slides all the way on

and is flush against computer wall. (Diagram 4)

6. Turn the key clockwise towards the locked symbol

on the key lock head and then take the key out.

7. Be sure the key lock head is secure on the

Quick-Mount node by pulling gently on the cable.

8. To unlock, reverse the process.

KEY REGISTRATION AND KEY

REPLACEMENT SERVICE

Complete all items on the Anti-Theft Protection Offer

and Key Registration Form and return to Kryptonite so

that in the event your keys are lost or misplaced, we

can provide you with duplicate keys. The key number is

printed on the keys. The key code for this Vault Lock is

exclusive. Duplicate keys can only be obtained through

Kryptonite. Mail the Anti-Theft Protection Offer and Key

Registration Form to: Kryptonite Customer Service,

If you lose your keys and you have registered your key

number with Kryptonite, or know your key number,
