The Model UTS6, UTS6BI and UTS10BI Universal Transfer Switches
include the following major features:
• A fully automatic transfer switch provides power for up to ten circuits from one to two independent
backup sources.
Quick, easy and safe configuration, installation and setup.
Certified to UL 1008 Transfer Switch Equipment standard.
UPS Battery backup for true uninterrupted operation (standard on 5,000 watt and above systems).
• Ability to transfer select loads between backup sources (generator and UPS) to provide maximum power
availability and run time.
• Adaptive load management (ALM) prevents momentary surges and overloads from overloading the
generator and helps maximize generator operating efficiency.
Over-voltage and under-voltage protection safeguards electrical equipment and appliances.
LCD display shows status messages including voltage, current and power values and energy usage levels.
• Semi-automatic operation when used with manual start generators by switching to generator power as
soon as it is detected.
Fully automatic operation when used with remote controlled auto start/stop generators.
Support for hardwired loads such as well pumps, sump pumps and furnace blower motors.
Security mode timer automatically controls lights and appliances to deter burglaries.
Model UTS6 is designed for 120V, single phase, 15A applications.
Model UTS6BI is designed for 120/240V, split phase, 20A or 30A applications and up to 50A with hard-wire option.
Model UTS10BI is designed for 120/240V, split phase, 20A or 30A applications and up to 50A with hard-wire option.
Time management in concert with load shedding ensures loads get the power they need.
Bypass mode for service and maintenance.
