warranty, APC will then replace your damaged SurgeArrest free of charge.

Noise Filtering 120kA SurgeArrest models contain EMI/RFI filtering to reduce line noise
that can cause data loss and keyboard errors. 40kA and 80kA units do not
contain noise filtering components, so they can be used with powerline
networking systems (X10, HomePlug, PLC, etc.).

SurgeArrest Panelmount SPDs are equipped with fuses and thermal
disconnects that react quickly to protect against dangerous high and low
current wiring faults as well as other catastrophic surge events. These
panelmount SPDs are passive, and continue to allow power through to your
home or building if any of the surge components are damaged.
Convenience
Status Indicator LED's LED status indicators for each phase and an audible alarm provide immediate
failure notification when suppression circuitry has been damaged by a heavy
strike or surge.
