Overview
Introduction The APC CM series precision air-conditioning system offers an increasingly
compact, modular, and reliable system solution without consuming valuable
floor space.
Precision environmental control requirements now reach far beyond the
confines of the traditional data or computer room to encompass a larger suite
of applications, referred to as technology rooms.
Typical applications included:
Computer rooms
Telecommunication facilities
Clean rooms
Power equipment
Medical equipment rooms
Archives
LAN environments

Capacity Available are 1 through 5 nominal tons (3.5 kW17.5 kW).
Air pattern The spot-cooled configuration is supplied with a 2' × 4' (610 mm × 1220 mm)
supply/return air filter assembly. The filter assembly includes one-way
supply and return air grilles. The duct configuration is supplied with a 1" (25
mm) duct flange on the supply and return air openings.
Control The thermostat controller activates heating or cooling functions
automatically in response to set-point versus measured conditions.
Humidifying or dehumidifying cycles activate as a function of set point
versus measured return air conditions.
Configuration Air-cooled. Unit used with an air-cooled condenser. Refrigerant lines must
be run between the indoor unit and the condenser. Air cooled units require
low maintenance and have low operating costs.
Configurations are:
Air-cooled with remote outdoor condenser.
Air-cooled with remote indoor condenser.
Air-cooled with self-contained spot cooled system (13 ton)
Air-cooled with self-contained ducted supply and return system.
