Today’s home environment requires backup power
and surge protection for more than just your computer.
Home electronics—from HD televisions to gaming
systems to DVR boxes—can be harmed just as easily
and irreparably by power threats and fluctuations.
Not only is there a threat of physical harm; power
disturbances and transients can harm your system’s
performance as well. In short, your home theater
experience begins and ends with power.
The APC line of AV power protection, conditioning,
and battery backup solutions will safeguard your
system and experience from these threats. These
products are designed specifically for the unique
power demands and requirements of your AV system.
What’s more, their high-class industrial design fits
perfectly with your system and AV furniture.
These models were purposely designed to be
inconspicuous. The wall tap units had the rear cut
out to fit around a duplex wall plate to help ensure
the lowest profile possible. Outlet banks are angled
outwards at 15 degrees to still enable the use of block
plugs. The P8V and P8VNTG have the outlets along
the top to allow people to push their entertainment
furniture as close to the wall as possible. Alternatively,
these models can be placed on the shelf next to the
equipment with the cords dressed to the rear and the
LEDs clearly visible from the front of the equipment.
