4.0 Connection

4.1 Connecting the Silcon DP300E

This section is for connecting the UPS unit itself. Before connection, refer to section

5.0 Options/Accessories to ensure that the UPS and options are properly interfaced

together during the installation process.

4.1.1 Connecting Silcon DP3120E–DP3160E [480V]

To get access to the cable terminals open the front door.

There are 4 front covers. Remove the screws and lift off the front covers.

Power cable entry from the bottom remove front cover no. 2 and 3, power cable entry

from the top, remove front cover no. 1 and 2. Communication cable for system

integration interface, parallel, relay boards remove cover no. 4. SmartSlots can be

connected without removing covers.

Always separate AC, DC, and

communication cables. See
