automatic true-load battery tests. Redundant over-charge protection con-
tributes to longer battery life. AVR Boost and AVR Trim regulate under

Battery Replacement Warning prevents downtime
APC Smart-UPS automatically performs a self-test every two weeks. This
ensures you will be alerted to failing batteries before they wear out. You
can perform self-tests anytime, through software or the push of a button.

The APC Smart-UPS battery charging system is microprocessor-controlled
to precisely charge batteries in less time than legacy UPS systems. This
makes your system available more quickly for subsequent power

proactively notify you 6-8 weeks in advance of a needed battery replacement.

Web, SNMP, e-mail, or paging.
Management Accessories Increase Availability
APC Smart-UPS® are equipped with a built-in SmartSlot, allowing you to
employ various UPS enhancement cards to customize the management of
your APC Smart-UPSs. These optional management accessories allow you
to perform a variety of functions such as monitoring ambient temperature

Shutdown, multiple Smart-UPS units can coordinate shutdown of
