Start-Up

Start-up checklist

Before starting the unit, check to see that the following conditions are met:

• All electrical connections have been made to local codes and safety standards.

• All accessories and duct work have been installed.

• Air flow to and from the unit is not blocked.

• Condenser drain is connected and not kinked or pinched.

How to apply power to the unit

Insert the IEC 320 C19 connector of the power cord into the back of the unit. Insert the opposite end

of the power cord, a NEMA 5-20 plug, into the wall outlet.

Do not use an extension cord with this unit.

Note

The unit will wait three minutes before engaging the compressor if the unit has been

unplugged or has been off for less than three minutes.

Warning

Route the power cord and the condensate line to prevent accidental injury to people

or damage to the unit.
