ACPA4000 User Manual 19
Set Environmental Controls
The unit controls the environment through the use of schedules. There are 9 schedules; eight of which
are programmable, and the ninth schedule being default settings. Cooling during the times and days
for which there is no programmed schedule is done according to the default schedule (Control
Environment).
Default schedule
Path: Main menu > Control Environment.
The default schedule will control cooling when other schedules are not available or are deactivated.
Mode. The mode setting can be changed to Cool, Vent Only, or System Off. Ve nt Only will
provide circulation without cooling the room. The System Off option stops the unit and the blower,
and the Cool option engages the compressor (after a delay) and cools the room.
Set Point. The set point is the target temperature the unit will maintain in the room. The acceptable
range for set points is 60 to 90° F (15.6 to 32.2° C).
Dead band. The dead band is the range above the set point at which cooling will begin. The unit
will not begin to cool until the room temperature is at the set point plus the dead band. The acceptable
range for the dead band is 1 to 3° F (0.6 to 1.7° C).
Note
Changes to the default schedule do not override active schedules.
Note
The dead band for the system must be set at Control Environment. It cannot be set for
each schedule.
