Operation: Control the Environment
14 InfraStruXure InRow RC—Operation and Maintenance
Thresholds
Set alarms to alert you to high temperature violations and when
components require service.
Path: Main > Set Unit Thresholds
When the air temperature exceeds the temperature defined by the High
Temperature Threshold, an alarm will occur. Set High Temperature
Thresholds for the following:
Rack Inlet: The air entering the rack at the temperature sensor.
Inlet Fluid: The chilled water entering the cooling unit.
Supply Air: The air output from the cooling unit.
Return Air: The air entering the cooling unit.
Service intervals
Path: Main > Service Intervals
The air filter should be serviced quarterly. The default is 12 weeks. The
service interval depends on environmental cleanliness.
Air Filter Interval: Set the number of weeks to service the air
filter.
Alarm: If enabled, an alarm will sound when the Air Filter
Interval has elapsed. The Air Filter Interval must be manually
reset to disable the alarm.
