Battery LVD Connection

The MX06 provides control for a motorized circuit breaker on the –48 V battery string. This

motorized circuit breaker is mounted on the back of the MX06. Figure 10 shows the power,

control, and monitoring connections. The motorized breaker connects in the negative battery

cable.

Multiple Battery Strings

A number of battery strings can be connected to the MX06 using a split bus bar assembly as

shown in Figure 3.4-3. Each battery tray has a provision for a manual battery disconnect. This

allows service to be performed on individual strings without affecting the rest of the system.
