9.3 Raised fl oor stand
9.3.1 Floor stand for 60 Hz units
The fl oor stand is used to adjust the height of the cooling unit to the height of the existing raised fl oor and
consists of an encircling rectangular profi le of galvanized steel with adjustable screw sockets. Anti-vibration
pads are recommended between the concrete fl oor and base plate.
X/Y = Opening in raised fl oor
Z1 = minimal 30 mm (1.2 inch)
Z2 = minimal 800 mm (31.5 inch)
- The raised fl oor cut-out should be at least 15° and
must not have any contact to the raised fl oor stand,
which could result in vibration transmission.
- The dimensions of the openings in the raised
fl o or (X and Y) are 10 mm (0.4 inch) longer than
the raised fl oor stand. The joint must be closed by
customers with a continuous seal.
- A concrete foundation is recommended in the area
of the raised fl oor supports.
- The raised fl oor stand support feet should be in-
stalled on vibration dam pe ning pads (do not screw
down the supports!).
- Prior to installation of the cooling unit, the raised
fl o or must be installed 7 mm (0.3 inch) higher than
the raised fl oor plates, as the vibration pads are
compressed by the weight of the cooling unit.
