Introduction

This manual provides step-by-step instruction on how to install and operate the floor versions of the

Smart-UPS

VT Maintenance Bypass Panel (MBP) with Power Distribution. These UL-listed units

were designed to operate in conjunction with the Smart-UPS

VT 10-30kVA, 208V UPS.

Each of these MBPs contains switches that facilitate the transfer of power from the UPS to bypass

operation to allow maintenance to be performed on the UPS. One version also houses a 42-position

panel board for distributing power to load.

Read these instructions carefully, and observe all safety warnings and other precautions. Should you
