Functional tests



Check the condition of the trough and basin water level sensors. Check and record the outdoor

air temperature and humidity sensor readings.



Verify that the quarterly basin water sample has been taken and sent to a qualified lab for

biological testing (including Legionella).



Check the wiring in the frame electrical panels. Check for loose connections, hardware, and

components.



Measure and record indoor and outdoor fan amperages.



Inspect the supply and return air ducts. Ensure the ducts are open. Check for gaps or air leaks

on outdoor ducts.



Clean or replace the air filters.



Measure and record suction and discharge pressure and temperature sensor readings.



Verify the DX cooling operation mode is functioning properly.



Check condition of inlet water screen, remove, and clean.



Check and clean the outdoor air fan inlet screen.
